Shaving the Firewall

I have wanted to shave the firewall since I got the car. When I redid the front end I went ahead and did this. I used a piece of 16 gauge steel. I first made a paper template then used that to cut out the sheet metal. It was a TON of work, but well worth it. Lots of welding, grinding, sanding, sanding and more sanding.

I still need to add a few pictures of it finished.
